Men's Ministry
The purpose of the Men's Ministry can be found in Colossians 1:28, "That we may present every man complete in Christ."
What does it mean to be "complete in Christ" as a man? It means that we are defined by God’s grace in all aspects of our life. We provide for our family, fight for righteousness sake, have close male friends who encourage us and are faithful in our relationships.
In Proverbs 27:17 we are told, "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." Strong men build up other strong men.
Men's Fellowship Breakfast Special Event
Saturday, 28 June 2025, 8:00 - 9:30 am, Fellowship Hall, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church
All Men of Prince of Peace are invited to join in fellowship for a breakfast on June 28th at 8:00 am. We have also invited men from our neighboring sister LCMS churches to share fellowship time with us. There will be a guest speaker, Vincent Douillard (Navy veteran, Top Gun graduate) who will share his experiences as a fighter pilot and also his faith walk during and after his service to our country. Mr. Steve Stephens from Bethany Lutheran Church and Aivars Baumanis will include a brief presentation on the Southeastern District Convention held in May. Men's Fellowship Luncheon
Let's get together the last Monday of each month for FUN, FOOD, & FELLOWSHIP. We'll meet at 12:30pm at Milano's Family Restaurant in Springfield. Dutch treat - laughter allowed - bring a friend! Please let us know you're coming by emailing Brad Womble
Saturday Morning Men's Bible Study
The Men's Saturday Morning Bible Study is currently being held in-person (POP Rm 21) and virtually, via Zoom. If you would like to connect online with the Men's Bible Study, contact Rob Lansing.
Men of all ages meet on Saturday mornings from 7:30-9:00am for Bible study and fellowship. Each week an offering is collected to support two young boys through the Village of Hope Ministry in Haiti (see photo). All men are welcome.
