Our Mission

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Our Vision

Prince of Peace builds disciples of Jesus who know God, grow together, and serve the world.

What We Believe

Grace Alone

We believe that salvation is a free gift from a gracious God and we can do nothing to earn our salvation.  (Ephesians 2:1-10)

Faith Alone

We believe the gift of eternal life and salvation is based entirely on God’s grace, through faith in Jesus Christ.  (John 14:6 and 1 Corinthians 12:3)

Scripture Alone

We believe the Bible is the completely trustworthy Word of God, providing us with what we need for life today and life forever.  (Romans 10:17, 2 Timothy 3:14-16, Hebrews 4:12)

Christ Alone

We celebrate two Sacraments - Baptism & Communion - that provide the gifts of forgiveness, faith, and eternal life through Jesus Christ.  (Romans 6:3-11, Titus 3:5-6, and 1 Corinthians 10:16-17)

Our Governance

At Prince of Peace, the Board of Servant Leaders (BOSL) is the keeper of the church vision.  The BOSL oversees the congregation’s mission by:
  • Ensuring that the Strategic Focus of the congregation is the driving force for all activities and related ministries
  • Ensuring that the policy and financial decisions comply with the Constitution and By-Laws
  • Communicating regularly to the Stewards
  • Caring for the church staff

Prince of Peace is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS)
