Celebrating Our Heroes

Hero of the Week, Darlene McCoy

This week we're celebrating Darlene McCoy, who has selflessly been sewing protective masks for those who need them. Listen to Darlene's story and see how she is inspired to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community.

About Heroes

The Prince of Peace Communications Team in partnership with the Care and Outreach Team have launched a new program to celebrate the Heroes among us called "The Hands & Feet of Jesus."  We will recognize Prince of Peace Members and friends, who have graciously and humbly displayed acts of service (God's work) in our community during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Individuals will be interviewed about their act of service to gain more information about what they did, how they were moved to service and if they partnered with a specific group or ministry team.  They will be featured in a video to be shared with the Prince of Peace congregation, highlighting their kindness.

Do you know someone that has given of themselves to our community, during this unprecedented time, and deserves to be recognized? Do you want to highlight the work that God has done through them? Take a moment to submit a nomination below.
