She considers a field and buys it; with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard. She dresses herself with strength and makes her arms strong.

Wednesday Morning Women
Wednesday Morning Women
Wednesdays (September - May), 9:45am-11:30am, in the POP Library (Rm 26)

Wednesday Morning is a community of multi-generational women meeting to study God’s word and connect with sisters in Christ.

Our theme this year is Walking Together, focusing on growing together in Christ. We'll have music, fellowship, prayer, snacks, and an introduction to our two NEW studies for the fall

This spring's selections are:

Gifts of Joy
Led by Sara Wilson & Connie Denninger

Come join us for the experience of Counting Gifts and Visual Prayer. Continuing the practices learned in 1000 Gifts by Ann Voskamp. We will begin the year with a journal to gather the recording of blessings, prayers, and devotional journaling. The journal is $15. We will be looking at the Lectionary Readings for each week and spending time in God's Word.

Mountains: Rediscovering Your Vision and Restoring Your Hope in God's Presence
Led by Jennifer Gross

In the ancient, symbol-driven world of the Bible, location didn’t just matter―it had meaning. In this study, author Kat Armstrong will guide us through five mountaintop Bible stories because mountains are holy ground for connecting with God. We will follow this up with Valleys: Finding Courage, Conviction, and Confidence in Life's Low Points. Join us in tracing a theme from the beginning to the end of the Bible!

Child care is provided on request (please register below or email before you bring your children so that we can have it available for you). Contact Jennifer Gross for more information.

Child care is provided by our Nursery, please register to save your spot!

Sunday Morning Women's Study
Sundays at 9:15am, in-person in Rm 11, and virtually

If you can't join us on Wednesdays, join us during the Sunday School Hour at Prince of Peace for Sunday Morning Women of the Word. This multi-generational group of women get together for fellowship, prayer and to study God's word through Bible study.

The Sunday morning Women’s Group will be starting a new study on Romans, by N.T. Wright on Sunday, September 3rd. “The world is in pain.  Paul’s letter to the Romans, as well as one look at our world, gives clear evidence of this.  The church shares in the suffering, groaning in the tension between the “already” of possessing the fruits of the Spirit and the “not yet” of our present moral existence.  Paul, however, makes abundantly clear that God doesn’t stand apart from the pain.  Rather, He entered it through Jesus and dwells in the middle of it in the Spirit.  These studies present the whole picture of a sinful world in pain and God’s deep love – at work still today – to reconcile that world to himself.”  We hope that you will join us for some prayer, laughter and God’s Word!

The book is available on Amazon or can be bought in class. Contact leader M.E. Sorenson for more info and Zoom link.
