Prince of Peace's Boy Scout Troop 1145 completed summer camp at Camp Rodney near Northeast, MD, on 14 July.

Despite some severally hot days forty boys with 12 adults had a very successful week with no illnesses or accidents.

Four new Scouts completed the Brown sea Island course upgrading their rank from Scout to Tenderfoot. The boys completed 91 merit badges and partially completed an additional 23 which will be completed over the next few months.

Other individual awards earned by the boys were: Rodney Mountain Biking Award (4), Kayaking (3) Snorkeling (l), one mile swim (2),and one young scout passed and received the Maryland State Motor Boat Operators License!

The adult leaders were also busy attending adult Scouting Courses such as safety afloat, climbing safety, leave no trace camping and youth protection.
