Sunday School for Youth-- We partner with parents in teaching the faith.

Prince of Peace offers Christian education instruction for youth, Grades 7 - 12, every Sunday morning at 9:45-10:45 a.m., except Easter Sunday and the Sunday after Christmas.

Understanding that parents are  primary spiritual mentors in families, we value parent participation.  As such, parent volunteers use a classroom approach to teach and illustrate Bible-based Christian principles. The curriculum they use provides valuable tools to continue parent-led learning throughout the week.

We further acknowledge our partnership with families by publicly celebrating "faith milestones", in a child's spiritual life.  These include Confirmation and the blessing of our high school graduates.

Classroom locations are shown on the Church and School Floor Plan

Youth Room (downstairs).  Join us for a new format called NOOMA.  Think of it this way.  We can get anything we want, from anywhere in the world, whenever we want it.  That's how it is and that's how we want it to be.  Still, our lives aren't any different than other generations before us.  Our time is.  We want spiritual direction, but it has to be real for us and available when we need it.  We want a new format for getting Christian perspectives.  That's what NOOMA is.  It's short films with communicators that really speak to us.  Each NOOMA touches on issues that we care about, that we want to talk about, and it comes in a way that fits our world.  It's a format that's there for us when we need it, as we need it, and how we need it.  So, see you in the Youth Room!
