New Adult Bible Studies, Fall 2010

Journeys -- Women's Sunday Morning Bible Study

A Passionate Life -- learn to live your faith the way that God intended.  Learn what it means to be a true follower, and by using easy-to-recall shapes (called LifeShapes), you will learn to apply those steps to every situation and relationship in your life.  A video-based presentation plus triad group work will be the format for this series of learning and to help answer - what is so great about knowing God.

The Bethel Bible Series -- New Testament Overview

Blessed To Be A Blessing - The Bethel Series has a unique approach to study of the Bible.  It provides the tools to help the student lift from the pages of Scripture the wonderful story of how God has moved through history to bring about His plan of salvation.

Membership Classes

New to Prince of Peace?  Welcome!!

Newcomers, visitors, friends, and members of Prince of Peace are invited to CONNECTIONS, a four-session orientation to Prince of Peace. The sessions are hosted by Vance Ablott and include an introduction to the mission and ministry of Prince of Peace. The class is offered several times during the year and is intended for everyone, especially those considering membership at Prince of Peace. The next CONNECTIONS class will be offered Sunday mornings, September 12, 19, 26, and October 3 during the Christian education hour, 9:45-10:45 a.m. in Room 21 adjacent to the church lobby. Please call the church office, (703) 451-5855 to register.

What We Believe is an overview of the basics of the Christian faith as taught and confessed in the Lutheran Church. The course emphasizes our connection to Christ and to each other as the body of Christ in this place. Those from a faith background other than Lutheran are asked to attend as a pre-requisite to membership at Prince of Peace. The next What We Believe hosted by Vance Ablott and staff will be offered on Sunday mornings, October 10, 17, 24, 31, and November 7 and 14  in Room 21.  Please call the church office, (703) 451-5855 to register.

If you are presently a member of a Lutheran congregation, and would like to transfer your membership to Prince of Peace, please contact Judith Meyer, Minister of Discipling, in the church office (703) 451-5855.
