Care for Prince of Peace Members

Care for Members - These ministries relate to God's greatest commandment as taught by Christ Jesus, "Love one another as I have loved you". Caring ministries have the recipient' side and the caregiver side. Many members find that life's events over time lead them to experience both sides. These ministries include the following:

bulletCalling and Visitation Ministry – for those who are hospitalized, recovering, or shut-in, we seek to be a caring, Christ-like presence in their lives; please contact the church office (703-451-5855) if you have a special need.

bulletDeaf Ministry
bulletFamily Life Ministry – providing care, support, and events designed for families, giving them a place where they are encouraged and equipped, and a place where they experience a sense of belonging.
bulletFellowship Ministry - plans and coordinates food, fun, and fellowship events to involve the entire church family, i.e. summer church picnic, Thanksgiving potluck, group sports tickets, and chartered trips.
bulletHealth Ministry – helping people experience a sense of well-being in their physical lives reflects the value God has placed on us as His children.
bulletHelping Hands Ministry – we seek to demonstrate our love and care to people during various life-events; putting this love into action may take the form of helping with meals while a family member is in the hospital, or providing rides to church for those who are not able to drive.
