Jesus used five stepping stones to change the lives of his disciples and
followers. The Prince of Peace congregation is organized around these
transforming steps. As a congregation, we too can walk a transformational
life through Gathering, Nurturing, Discipling, Serving, and Celebrating.
Each of the stepping stones of this pathway is associated with an active, focused Core Ministry area as illustrated by the transformation pathway.
Overall, the ordained pastors provide spiritual leadership for members and seekers. The pastors work as a team with an elected governing board of six lay people. These lay members, the Board of Servant Leaders (Board), assume the policymaking responsibility to guide and enable the congregational focus on the five transforming steps through the Core Ministries.
The Board also provides oversight of the associated Nationally accredited pre-school and kindergarten through an appointed school board.
Each Core Ministry, led by a volunteer lay member, carries out the Prince of Peace mission through numerous task team ministries. Five Support Ministries, also led by volunteer members, provide support for the Core Ministers and for general operations of Prince of Peace. More information . . .
